Ex-Stanford star Klahn reaches ATP main draw

Former Stanford star Bradley Klahn, who turned professional only three weeks ago, reached the main draw of an ATP World Tour tournament Monday.
The 2010 NCAA singles champion, who completed his eligibility in May, defeated fellow American Alex Kuznetsov 7-6 (5), 7-6 (2) in the final round of qualifying in the Farmers Classic in Los Angeles. It will be Klahn's third singles match in a Grand Slam or ATP tournament.
